SECTION 21 – CANCELLATION

You can cancel an order prior to it being processed, typically within 30 minutes of placing the order. Orders in processing and beyond cannot be cancelled.

SECTION 22 – ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION

You are connecting with us electronically when you use our website or send out emails to us. You consent to get interactions from us online. We will connect with you by email or by uploading notifications on the site. You concur that all contracts, notifications, disclosure, and various other communications that we provide to you digitally please any legal requirements that such communications be in writing.

SECTION 23 – RETURNS & REFUNDS

In order to serve you efficiently and effectively, our policy lasts 30 days from the day of delivery. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on items with delivery confirmation beyond 30 days.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please inspect all products and expiration dates before opening any items, as returns on opened items is not permitted.

To have your return processed in the most time efficient manner, please click to access the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Form from here. The Form can also be accessed from the Customer Support Tab at the bottom of our home page, or from your account when logged in. Upon completing and submitting the RMA Form, you will receive an email with an RMA number and further instructions to ship back to us.

We’ll notify you if any credit for partial or full outbound shipping costs will be included with your claim refund depending on the type of claim and number of items claimed versus number of items ordered. For example, if one item out of ten is received damaged there is no partial shipping reimbursement. If one item is received damaged in a one item order, there is full outbound shipping reimbursement.

Type of Return Claims:

1. Claims for “billed for product not received “(Shortage). These are subject to review and verification from our end.
2. Received Wrong Item (Claims for wrong product shipped): These are to subject to review from our end. You’d need to provide us with the UPC number from the item you received from us when initiating the claim. Once verified, you’ll receive further instructions to ship back to us.
3. Changed my mind (Buyer’s Remorse): Returns due to buyer’s remorse, where you change your mind. You’d be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number and to ship back to us. You’ll be responsible for cost to ship items back to us, and a 15% restocking fee. RMA numbers expire if we do not receive return product within 14 days of issuance. Where an RMA has expired, you cannot be issued credit. Any return Product that arrives to us, opened or in poor condition will not be entitled to a refund. All buyer’s remorse returns must be received by us, undamaged, in the original packaging and able to be re-sold.
4. Undelivered Packages: We’ll issue a refund for lost in transit shipments that are not delivered to the final destination. We will not issue a refund for packages where a delivery confirmation has been received from the shipping carrier. We do not utilize Signature Delivery service option.
5. Received expired item (Expired Inventory): All claims for expired inventory must be accompanied with the Expiration Date. We will not issue a refund for expired merchandise if the order was shipped within 30 or more days from the “best by” date.
6. Received damaged item (Damaged Claims): All damage claims must be accompanied by digital photograph and details describing the damage.
7. Manufacturer Defects: We will issue a refund for a defect claim such as a missing safety seal or no label. Quality complaints due to taste, touch or smell should be reported to the manufacturer for a warranty claim.
8. Product Image Not Matching Product: We are not responsible for new product labeling where the image on our website is not the exact version of the actual product. If the UPC number is kept the same, then no significant changes to the product have been made and no claim will be honored.
9. Melt:  We are not responsible for products that may melt in transit such as, but not limited to, chocolate bars or gummy vitamins. We do not ship with ice packs or any special packaging to cool the products in transit. You’re advised to not buy any items that are prone to melting in transit hot summer months.

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Unless otherwise as indicated in “Claim Types”, if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Tracking Number Required: To serve you effectively, we require tracking numbers associated with shipped returns. Please purchase tracking when mailing returns, as we do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable, unless we are found to have shipped a wrong or expired item.

Although in most instances credit will be received quicker, generally, you should expect to receive credit refunds within 3 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. The estimated time frame is set to include the average amount of time it takes for us to receive your return from the shipper (about 5 to 10 business days), and the average amount of time it takes for us to process your return upon receipt (about 3 to 5 business days).

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regularly priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, fill an RMA form (also under the Customer Support Tab at the bottom of our home page), or from your account when logged in, and we will help you.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and you will find out about your return from them.

Perishable Items

We do not accept returns of food and other perishable items, unless the item is out of date on the date of its arrival, or the wrong item was shipped to you. Please inspect all products and expiration dates before opening any items, as returns on opened items is not permitted. Please do not throw away unwanted items until you have contacted Customer Service.

SECTION 24 – GENERAL SHIPPING

We aim at offering you the most cost-effective and efficient shipping method. Shipping and Handling rates are calculated based on rates from UPS Ground, UPS Mail Innovations, and UPS Surepost. Rates are calculated based on item weight and or dimension, and destination. These are displayed at checkout.

We ship to all 48 states of the contiguous United States. Once placed, orders are shipped within 2-3 business days.

Please note that making adjustment or modification to shipping information (including that of changing incorrect shipping information) you initially provided after items have been shipped would result in additional charges/fees, averaging about $20, paid to the shipping carrier. These charges/fees also apply to non-deliverable items with incorrect shipping information.

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by shipping carrier or any damage, loss or liability created by their actions or inactions.

Our responsibility for package delivery ends once a package is delivered to its destination as evidenced by a proof of delivery (no signature required). Thus, once the carrier delivers an order (as evidenced by a delivery confirmation from the carrier), Cedartreehealth, LLC, is not responsible for the loss of the package and will not honor claims for lost packages when a delivery confirmation has been received from the shipping carrier.
